And then there’s the golf… and lots of it! Eight different championship courses designed by the greatest names in golf comprise over two thousand acres of golf (which is more than any other resort in the country).  There is lots of history in Pinehurst, NC...a favorite stop for Annie Oakley's Wild West traveling show.   

Courses one through eight were slowly added over the last century, with each course offering various levels of play suited for the beginner up to professional championship skill level. No matter your handicap, you will find a course that will take your love of the game to the next level.

And let’s not forget the famed Pinehurst No. 2 course. A course so challenging even Tiger Woods has a hard time shooting par! This course has played host to two U.S. Open Championships, one in 1999 and again in 2005.   

Again and again, golf history has been made on this spectacular course. Iconic champions such as Payne Stewart and Michael Campbell have both claimed the U.S. Open Championships on Pinehurst No. 2. With the U.S. Men’s Amateur Championship to be played here in 2008.
