Seven Lakes NC Homes for Sale/Market Update/8 Miles West of Pinehurst
As of today, August 8, 2008, there are 116 homes on the market in the gated community of Seven Lakes. The totals are as follows:
Seven Lakes North - 24 homes ranging from asking price of $149,000 - $396,000.
Seven Lakes South - 24 homes ranging from asking price of $155,000 - $424,000.
Seven Laks West - 68 homes ranging from asking price of $199,900 - $1,890,000.
A total of 19 homes are waterfront homes -- 13 waterfront are on Lake Auman. There are a total of 19 homes that are golf front --10 in Beacon Ridge, Seven Lakes West, and 9 in Seven Lakes South.

May 30, 2008 - We are in a Buyer's Market in Seven Lakes...houses are priced to sell and there are quite a few homes to choose from. Just recently I took clients from San Diego around our community, and they could not believe our prices!!! Compared to the pricing in their market, we are priced very, very, well. Another asset we have going for our market is our property taxes and taxing on retirement (NC)....Moore County is quite attractive!!!! As I suggested to Clare and Tim, finding a home is not a problem in Moore County! We have incredible houses in our area. Whether you move to Pinehurst, Seven Lakes, Southern Pines.....I will be able to find you a beautiful house, in your price range, that meets your needs. When planning for your retirement, you need to think about your lifestyle. What does your retirment look like to you? Will you be golfing? fishing? active in the community? walking to the local coffee shop? Will you still be working? Make a priority list. If you are a couple, then both of you need to pick your top 5 priorities and compare. We have a lot to offer in our community...incredible properties, crystal clear lakes, challenging golf courses, equestrian venues, and a community that cares. There is an amazing little boy in our community -- Noah Jones -- who at four months of age has numerous surgeries to correct a problem that has plagued him since birth. His latest surgery which took place at John Hopkins for an anatomical hemispherectomy this past August 30th, removed half his brain. His grandfather is our postmaster Harold Jones, a member of my church (his mom and dad attend there, too). Over the months, many benefits and fund raisers have been given in Noah's behalf, many organized by Noreen Sawyer. The latest is a softball tourney which will be held September 21-22 at the West End Elementary School baseball field. Last year the event raised over $8,000...many are expected this year's event to raise even more. There is a barbeque dinner...pig pickin' style available from 2:00 - 6:00 pm and a Silent Auction during that time. Tickets are available for $5.00. You can stop by our office, Whelan Realty, LLC and pick up tickets. I hear the barbeque will be good and want last long so I would come by sooner than later. This is an amazing way to keep on top of what is going on with this amazing little boy. This money helps us pay for our badges, craft items and trips through out the year.
